Frosch (12/6/21)

I know that you miss him
As much as I do.

As much as he was my other half;
He was your other half too.

I know that you wish you
Would pick up the phone

And here him say
“Yo yo yo” instead of the dial tone.

He loved being your twin
Having you for a brother

Even when one was mistaken
For the other.

He loved including you in our family
And I did too.

Vacations, holidays, double-dates
Dinners at home, and trips to the zoo.

Our kids were lucky to have an amazing Dad
And a big-hearted, fun-loving Uncle J.

Through the years he worried about you,
And just wanted you to be happy someday.

I will be forever grateful that he got to
Witness you get married to your bride.

That day meant a lot to him.
He was honored to be by your side.

He told me many times
When I would sob in his arms

Worrying about the future without him
He never had any qualms.

He said we would take care of each other
And help each other along the way

And I hope you know that’s true
Today and every day.

We can grieve your Frosch together
And keep him in our heart.

And one day hear him say “was ist los?’
When from this Earth we part.
